Have you ever considered a career in Security? The demand for security professionals is increasing and PADS offers a comprehensive training program to help you advance your skills and field experience.

As a PADS trained Security Officer, your work responsibilities may include securing: construction sites, mines and mills, retail operations, warehouses, special events, bars, campus buildings, concerts, events and more. 

This will involve conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV, surveilling, as well as identifying and preventing criminal activity.

A PADS security guard protects our clients’ staff, properties, assets, as well as the public. We pride ourselves in offering outstanding customer service, being adaptable to different situations, and partner with the authorities and emergency services when incidents occur.

We employ many ex-armed forces personnel as they have hugely valuable and transferable skills. 

To hold an Ontario security guard license you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be legally able to work in Canada
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Complete the training and exam requirements
  • Have a current Emergency First Aid/CPR certificate
